About the 2026 Honda CRF250RWEThe machine
The 2026 Honda CRF250RWE is the Works Edition of the CRF250R: a closed-course motocross race bike with a fuel-injected, liquid-cooled 249 cc four-stroke single, a DOHC four-valve head and a five-speed gearbox. Over the standard CRF250R it adds a Yoshimura titanium exhaust, Dunlop MX33 tires with a wider 110/90-19 rear, a Twin Air air filter, hand-polished cylinder ports, dedicated ignition and injection mapping, a Showa fork with Kashima-coated outer tubes and titanium oxide-coated lower legs, and a hydraulic clutch that cuts lever pull by 16%. Like the standard bike, it has Honda Selectable Torque Control, HRC Launch Control, a handlebar map switch and a titanium fuel tank. It returns for 2026 with the same specifications as the 2025.
Who should ride it
For experienced motocross riders and racers on sanctioned closed courses who want factory-team parts straight from the showroom. It is a competition-only bike: not street legal in the US, and not meant for trail riding or beginners.
